| Who We Are... Laura W. Boyd, Ph.D., Owner and CEO of Policy and Performance Consultants, Inc. Dr. Laura Boyd has spent her entire life at the cross-section of education, business, and society. She has experience from student to professor, from consultant to business owner, and from political national leadership mentor to elected office holder. Laura has sixteen years of teaching experience in positions ranging from lecturer to assistant professor, at both undergraduate and graduate levels. She has a PhD in Psychology and an MS in Humanist Education/Counseling; these degrees are augmented by 24 years of private counseling experience. Since leaving elected office in 1998, Laura has consulted through Policy and Performance, Inc., for a broad range of entities including the Oklahoma Federation of Teachers, Shadow Mountain Behavioral Health Systems, the Foster Family-based Treatment Association, Women Impacting Public Policy, and numerous state agencies and child welfare associations. Dr. Boyd served as National Co-Chair of Women’s Business Policy for Barack Obama's presidential campaign. She is recognized by members of the DNC and the RNC as a vocal representative for women business executives. From 1992-1998, Dr. Boyd served as a Member of Oklahoma State House of Representatives.

Cindy Cason 
Nationally certified by Boardsource, Cindy Cason has more than 15 years experience in the nonprofit,education, and for-profit business sectors. She has been a print and broadcast journalist, magazine writer, communications director for a large school district and a consultant to businesses, governmental entities and foundations. Cindy launched Cason Communications in 1997. The Norman, Oklahoma-based consulting and contracting firm provides development, funding research and grantwriting, marketing/PR, assessment, and training services to nonprofit, for-profit, education, and grantmaking organizations. In 2010, Cason joined Policy & Performance Consultants, Inc. as Vice President of Communications.

Sheryl Lovelady 
Sheryl Lovelady began her career as a professional photographer before entering the political and government sectors. She then served on the Executive staffs of the Oklahoma Senate Appropriations Chairman and the Senate Pro Tempore for seven years working on appropriations and policy issues. She has provided oversight of fundraising, campaign, and policy strategies for state legislative candidates. Ms. Lovelady also worked with clientele throughout the United States as a strategic consultant with a Washington DC and Florida based public opinion research firm. Most recently, she served as Communications Director for the City of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Senior Advisor to the Mayor. Sheryl works with public and private sector clientele and chooses those who strive to make a positive difference.

Mary Jo Sullivan
Mary Jo Sullivan, a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor, has provided substance abuse services for individuals, families and employee assistance programs since 1983. Highly adept at employee relations and collaboration with governmental and private agencies, Ms. Sullivan has provided leadership in efforts to provide services for agencies and businesses interested in establishing a healthy, drug-free and productive workforce. Ms. Sullivan currently provides services designed to assist employees, family members and employers in finding solutions for workplace, personal and professional stress relating to alcohol and/or drug abuse. These services include assessment, counseling, intervention, education and development of policies and procedures. Individual services are provided in a discreet and confidential manner.
